Brand Discovery + Strategy
Moo Creamery reached out to Purveyor House to bring clarity to their brand’s messaging + help them show the value of their products + services.
As we walked through the discovery process, it became clear that Moo is not your grandparents’ diner. We built a strategy around highlighting their scratch kitchen, moo-made offerings + craft approach, and we helped them feature their quality vendors in their menus + on their website.
While we wanted to help Moo cultivate a more grown up look, we also wanted to keep their quirky, tongue-in-cheek tone.
Brand Identity + Design
Step one was a brand design refresh. We simplified + modernized the Moo logo while maintaining its original essence. By removing the cow pattern, adding a secondary typeface + extending the brand colors, we helped them put on a fresh, versatile face.
Then we turned to the menus. For these, our main goals were to update their look, bring consistency across the board + create a system with color changes + logo variations. We created a fun + sophisticated look with a geometric pattern that plays off of a cow’s spots, and the same pattern is also applied to the brunch menu as an egg.
The website was the final piece of the puzzle. We built Moo a whole new site, applying their brand strategy to bring clarity + show value. In addition, we did a photo shoot to capture their menu, provide awesome images to go with the new look + invite customers to see before they taste.
Results + Transformation
We loved working with Moo Creamery to create a clear brand strategy + consistent, grown-up look across their logos, menus + website. Their food has always been delicious — now their customers + potential customers know just how much Moo has to offer.
