CASA of Kern County

Fairy Godmother Foundation

As a very unique non-profit organization, and still fairly new, we rely on our creativity for survival. We’re competing with so many other amazing organizations locally for funding, so for us to thrive we need to think outside of the box. The creative culture of our foundation has created a positive team environment and has connected us to so many other amazing businesses in town, resulting in mutually beneficial relationships instead of competitive ones. The more creative minds working together for good, the better. Once a year we host our annual murder mystery event where we raise most of our funds. This year we are trying other avenues such as Facebook donations and crowd funding. In a world full of constant noise we strive to find creative ways for our voice to be heard.

We are proud to announce that this year we will be participating in Give Big Kern. This is a crowd funding for Kern County where we hope to raise more money for our cause. This will be happening on May 1, 2018.   We are really looking forward to Oct 5, 2019 when we will host our third foundation wedding for Jordanne Barr and Jordan Adamczyke they survived the nightmare at Route 91, Jordanne was shot and Jordan actually covered her with his body after the shots rang out.  http://bakersfieldnow.com/news/local/couple-survives-las-vegas-mass-shooting-receives-free-wedding
